Definition Of Noun Clause
Noun clauses is a group of words that can not stand alone (dependent clauses) that has a subject and predicate and functioning as nouns (nouns), which can be as subject, object, or complement.Noun clauses usually begin with subordinate conjunctions (conjunction between clauses with main clause; Because, as if, as though, even though, although, as, in order, so that, etc.) or relative pronouns (pronouns that refer to a preceding noun (antecedent) that serves as penghubungdalam sentences, such as who, that, whom, which, Whose, etc.).

Formula:
  •      Conjunction + S + Predicate + ……. (Object)
  •   That + subject + verb (+ complement)
  •  Wh-word + subject + verb ( + complement)

Examples:
1.      The t-shirt your mother is wearing is made in Yogya.
2.      All he said was nonsense
3.      What you want is what we've got
4.      Anything you say won't make any difference
5.      The answers she write here may solve your problem
6.      Jack, whom i met yesterday, will be my new neighbor.
7.      I was Reading a book when the bell rang.
8.      When they arrive is still uncertain
9.      Mr.Ricard, who is teacher, was looking for you at school.
10.  Alam , whose book was stolen last month just bought another new book yesterday.

COMMAND AND REQUEST


Command adalah ( perintah) ,misalnya: ordered,commanded dan sebagainya yang berarti menyuruh atau memerintahkan dan biasanya diakhiri oleh tanda seru dibelakang kalimatnya, sedangakan Request adalah (permohonan), misalnya: asked yang artinya meminta atau memohon.

Contoh Command:
1.      Go to bed!
2.      Get out of here now!
3.      Don’t eat that food!
4.      Be good to her!
5.      Don’t stare at me!
6.      Don’t be a spoilsport!
7.      Be careful!
8.      Be smart!
9.      Don’t be lazy
10.  Dont’t be careless

Contoh Request:
1.      Could you help me?
2.      Please come to my house.
3.      He asked his friend to please come to his house.
4.      Could you buy some eggs?
5.      Could you help me to clean the room?
6.      Could you  bring my book ?
7.      Please take me home.
8.      Could you pick me up at 7pm?
9.      Don’t buy any chips please,that’s not healthy.
10.  She asked her friend to come to her birthday party.

Direct and Indirect speech


1.       DIRECT SPEECH
·         He told me “the woman comes” (simple present)
ANSWER
·         He told me that the woman come (simple past)

2.       DIRECT SPEECH
·         She said “the man is coming” (present continous)
ANSWER
·         She said that the man was coming (past continous)

3.       DIRECT SPEECH
·         They said “the circus has come to the square” (present perfect)
ANSWER
·         They said that the circus had come to the square (past perfect)

4.       DIRECT SPEECH
·         My mom said “ Alanda has been writing” (present perfect continous)
ANSWER
·         My mom said that Alanda had been  writing (past perfect continous)

5.       DIRECT SPEECH
·         Daddy said “ your uncle come last week (simple past)
ANSWER
·         Daddy said that my uncle had come the night before ( past perfect)

6.       DIRECT SPEECH
·         Alanda remarked “ my mom was coming” (past continous)
ANSWER
·         Alanda remarked that her mom had been coming (past perfect continous)

ANSWER
·         Dad said that my brother would be coming (conditional continous)

·         She said “ i had already writting for one hours (past perfect continous)
ANSWER
·         She said that she had already been writteng for one hours (past perfect continous)

·         Mom told me “you must study”  (present perfect)
ANSWER
·         Mom told me that I had to study (past perfect)

12.   DIRECT SPEECH
·         Rummy told me “the letter will be arrive tomorrow” (future)
ANSWER
·         Rumy told me that the letter would be arrive the following day (past future)

13.   DIRECT SPEECH
·         He said “hurray!My old friend has come” (present perfect)
ANSWER
·         He exclaimed with joy that his old friend has come (present perfect)

14.   DIRECT SPEECH
·         Nadia said “ Jessie J will come to Jakarta next month” (future)
ANSWER
·         Nadia said that Jessie J would come to Jakarta the following month (past future)

15.   DIRECT SPEECH
·         He said “thank you” (simple present)
ANSWER
·         He thanked me (simple past)
