Causative verb

Pengertian:

Causative verb menunjukkan bahwa seseorang/sesuatu secara tidak langsung bertanggung jawab terhadap sebuah tindakan. Subjek tidak melakukan tindakan itu sendiri, tetapi justru menyebabkan seseorang/sesuatu yang lain melakukannya.

Rumus:

·         Let

[let + person + verb]

Kegunaan:  untuk membiarkan pihak lain melakukan sesuatu.

·         Make

[make + person + verb]

Kegunaan: untuk memaksa seseorang mengerjakan sesuatu.

·         Have

[have + person + verb]

Kegunaan: untuk memberikan seseorang tanggung jawab untuk melakukan sesuatu.

·         Get

[get + person + to + verb]

Kegunaan: untuk memastikan seseorang sesuatu telah dikerjakan seseorang.
